Workshop Title

Creating Robust Intervention Plans in Supervision and Practical Hands-on Supervision Delivery

Workshop Description

Have you ever found yourself prepping for supervision and wondering how you were going to cover all the components of the Analytic Process?? Have you opened a weekly case summary and found the interventions outlined do not resemble what you thought was agreed upon in the previous week’s supervision and consultation?

MST Supervisors are the critical component for ensuring that therapists leave supervision and consultation with a robust and MST-adherent intervention plan. This workshop will provide you with strategies to do just that along with ensuring therapists have the skill to carry out their intervention plans. Join us in assessing common drivers to insufficient intermediary goals and intervention development in supervision and enhancing your toolbox with approaches to use in prep, in supervision, and during clinician development meetings.

Objectives

Ø Participants will ensure each case has a plan to move treatment forward.

Ø Participants will ensure intervention steps incorporate the MST 9 Principles, are participant focused, and are designed to accomplish the desired outcomes of the developed Intermediary Goal.

Ø Participants will be better prepared to maintain structure throughout each case and throughout supervision, ensuring therapists leave supervision and consultation with clear direction.

Ø Participants will increase their recognition of what to cover during supervision and what additional skill building needs should be covered during clinician development time.

Ø Participants will have an opportunity to practice and apply skills discussed during the training to address identified clinician skill gaps.
